Tasting note: Pale golden yellow colour. Its spicy, floral and herbal nose evokes the Traminer and the Peszeki Leányka. There’s a mineral, flinty note in the background too. Characterised by soft acidity, light to medium body and a spicy, fruity palate.

Winemaking: We vinify the grapes together from a mixed planting of 50-60-year-old vines from the Nagyhegy vineyard, except for the 20% Traminer, which is blended later with the finished wine. The 12-hour maceration is followed by gentle pressing, spontaneous fermentation and maturation on the fine lees, only in stainless steel tank.

Food pairing: Fresh water fish, creamy pasta dishes, crackling scones, ragout soups flavoured with sour cream and tarragon (rabbit, turkey).

Recommended serving temperature: 10-12ᵒC
